Tricalcium Phosphate (TCP)

Tricalcium phosphate (TCP), also known as calcium phosphate tribasic, is a calcium salt of phosphoric acid. It is a great source of phosphorus and calcium. It is commonly used as a food additive as a nutritional supplement that helps fortify products with calcium, an anti-caking agent and texture enhancer, a leavening agent, a pH Buffer, a dough conditioner, a mineral enrichment, and a stabilizer in certain products. TCP is available in powder form with a white texture which has an odorless and tasteless characteristics.
