Therefore, this is a concentrated liquid or semi-liquid extract that is highly concentrated in flavors, colors and heat compounds from the peppers. This is available in both oil-soluble and water-soluble forms which makes it versatile for various applications. It is more stable and has a longer shelf life compared to ground paprika since it is less prone to degradation from heat, light, and oxygen.
